The nature of a blog is such that the most recent post is the one you’ll see first. But this blog is about several trips and the adventures I (and we) had during them. And I’ll bet you want to start at the beginning, right? Most people do. Here are some links to take you to the beginning of each adventure. When you are done with the first post, just click “Next” to the right of the title and you’ll be on your way. 🙂

*NOTE: In years past, I sent my travelogues out to interested friends and family as e-mail, a chapter at a time. But as I prepared for my trip to Ireland in the fall of 2012, having had some experience with blogging, I had a little brain fart: I’d set up a blog, post the trip as I went, and populate the archives of the blog with my older, e-mailed travelogues. So I did. (Except I did not blog in real time; circumstances were such—that is, wi-fi was intermittent at best—that I had to wait to get home to do this.)

So right now (September 2014), that Ireland 2012 trip is complete. The England 2000 trip is complete, as is the Ireland 2013 trip—and 2003 too. I’ll be working my way through everything else over the next few months, starting next with Ireland 2006. Each post is identified by day number and date. If you’d like to start at the beginning, just click the link above.

NYP means, simply, not yet published. Check back; I’m anxious to get everything up. And thank you for stopping by!

Did you know that you can click on any photo in this blog and see a larger image? You can! Furthermore, you can click on it once more and see it really blown up. This is helpful with some of the photos that have small details.

One more note: If someone other than me snapped the camera, I’ve made a note in the caption. Thus you’ve seen “Alli took this photo” and “Photo by Margaret.” If there’s no credit, I took that one, for good or for ill.
